Democracy for America Birthday Party

On March 25, 2004, Democracy for America was created from the ashes of the Dean for America Campaign . Like a phoenix it rose to train thousands of activists all over America, and support and fund hundreds of candidates for offices at all levels of

government - including three candidates here in Monroe County.

Join us in celebrating the birth of this great organization and the return of its founder, Howard Dean, to the fold. The celebration will include a conference call with Governor Dean and other celebrity guests.

This will also be a pitch-in and we are asking people to bring a dish that relates to the number five, e.g. five-bean salad, or a five-alarm chili. There will, of course be a birthday cake.
