DFMC Steering Committee will meet in the Community Room at Old National Bank, at the corner of 3rd & College Mall Road.

On Monday, March 24, the Monroe County Election Board will meet at 5:00pm in the Justice Building. They will be considering whether to keep paper ballots as an option for early voting.

As you may recall, DFMC teamed with other organizations last year to gather hundreds of signatures in support of keeping paper ballots an option. The citizens of Monroe County deserve a choice when exercising their fundamental right to cast a ballot.

Join us at the Election Board meeting, and let them know that you support keeping paper ballots as an option for early voting.

April 7 is the last day to register to vote for the May Primary Election.

Our April Linkup will focus on the issue of pharmaceuticals in our water supply. This topic has recently been the subject of national press attention, but DFMC has been exploring this issue locally since 2007. This issue is among the top DFMC legislative priorities for the year.

We will also vote on DFMC endorsements for 2008.

We will meet at the Village Deli, as usual. Come early to order food.
